..and it's somewhat of a debate between fiance and I...

We're planning on naming our first son Calvin. He wants to use the nickname "Cal" and I'd prefer "Vinnie" as "Cal" just reminds me of a dry heave.

So...if you were naming your son Calvin, which nickname would you use?

I prefer Vinnie, but I like Cal. If you can't agree on one, just use both names. That happened with both me and my brother. Mom insisted on calling us Melissa and Nathan, our grandparents insisted on calling us Lissie and Nate, and Daddy insisted on calling us Squirell and Bub. :-D (I was squirell, yay)
