My friend recently found out she's pregnant with her first baby. She has two step kids named Giulia (like Julia) and Bernardo.

Right now, their boy name is Isaac and their girl name is Laila like "LIE-luh." (they aren't sure about having an H at the end or not).

She's American and her husband is Brazilian, as you may be able to tell by the names.

What do you think?

I love the name Isaac but it seems out of place with the other two.
I like the girl name whether it's "Lay-la" or "Lie-luh". It's very pretty both ways.

I really like Giulia spelled that way but I would get the first "i" in the wrong spot every time!
I have terrible associations with the name Bernardo but I've never seen it as a first name which kind of sucks - I wish this was the first time I had ever heard it. It's nice and I like it better than Bernard.

Yeah, I pretty much figure that any name they pick is going to sound a little bit out of place with the other two because I know they aren't going to pick a Brazilian name for this baby.

Maybe on the boy side - I think the girl one fits very well with the other two.
