My husband's boss and his wife welcomed a son a few weeks ago. They named him Townsend Douglas. He joined sisters Sophia (though she goes by Sophie) and Ada. I can't decide what I think of the name, but I don't think it really goes with his sisters' names. What say you, baby_names?

Huh. Weird, because I like Ada, and Sophie is ok. I think that noun/place names are having an even bigger comeback. We just saw an announcement for a little boy named Stillman Graham in the paper. Stillman and Townsend sound like the same kind of name to me.

I wonder what they will use as a nn?

I agree - Stillman and Townsend sounds like they would make a good sibset. Not my style at all, but at least they go together.

Those two, plus their older brother, Whittaker (a boy's name I heard on vacation) can all get on their yacht and sail around the sea.
