My cousin (Matthew) and his wife (Sarah) just had their first baby. They've called her Alisi Sarah - our family has Germanic roots and to keep them going, they've chosen the Germanic form of Alice. Alisi is pronounced Ah-LEE-see or Ah-LISS-ee depending on where you are; I've only seen the name written down so far so I don't know their choice on that :)
I think it's wonderful, and thought I'd share because I don't think it's used often. The only thing that may confuse us in our family is that we have three little girls in the youngest generation, all born within 3 years, called (in age order) Ella, Anise and Alisi ;)
