My aunt just had her sixth child today, a daughter named Mary Katherine.  She'll either be Mary or Mary Kate for short I personally prefer Mary Kate.  WDYT?

Older siblings are John Kenneth (Jack), Emma Cathlin, Luke Edward, Andrew James, and Daniel (Danny--I can't remember his middle name for some reason).

I love Mary Katherine. I have two friends named this, one who goes by Mary Katherine and one who goes by Mary. I like all of the options. And your aunt has great taste in names. I don't love Emma Cathlin, but otherwise I'm a huge fan of all of these.

I know a Mary Kathryn who goes just by Mary, too. I'm not a fan of Cathlin either, but I guess my aunt wanted to use her own middle name (though she's named for a nun, Sister Cathlin, who was a friend of my grandparents).
