Niece and nephew

Just as my niece (Abbey Joelle) is turning a year old, we get the big news that there are two more on the way! Come April, I will have a new niece and nephew.  Eerily enough, they are due on the same day.

Annalise Nicole (big sister is Abbey)

Everytime I see Annalise (in any variant spelling), I think Anal Eeze. The numbing anal lubricant. Yeah. I couldnt name a child that. But Abbey and Conner are fine names. Is Abbey her full name or a nickname? I've never been a fan of giving a child a nickname as a name, so I'd go more for Abigail nn Abby.

I know that. I'm just saying that's how it works out in my head. It's a perfectly acceptable name.

I only think of that because one of my husband's friends brought it up when his wife said she liked Annaliese as a name for their daughter a few years back, ever since then, a perfectly good name, ruined by a dude who can't keep his mind out of the gutter.

Abbey is her full name. We already have an Abigail nn Abby in our family. They chose Abbey for the meaning, 'Father is rejoicing'.
