So I realize that I have really no room to talk, seeing as I do not have any children (yet), but one of my biggest pet peeves is sibling names that simply don't sound like a "set". Now I'm not talking about numbering your kids or naming them after colors, don't get me wrong.

I think my family does an "okay" job at sibling sets. For instance, Ashley, Joshua, and April are myself and my siblings. Edgar, James, Terry, and Patricia are my mother's siblings.

What do you folks think? Do you think that names should sound "similar" between siblings? Can you name one child Jack and the other Gunnerkrigg and not seem foolish?

I explain it like "the first part of the word reincarnation" lol (or you separate the sounds out so you're emphasizing "Ian" (like the boys name) and the first part is just an Rh sound...if my name started with an S it would sound like She-in)

Or if you know the fleetwood mac song Rhiannon it's like that but without the extra non on the end

That's pretty confusing for such a short name! I thought it was like Ryan.

Lols it's actually not confusing, you were just emphasizing the 'i' incorrectly.

oh neat! i remember seeing it before in the community and thought it was a nickname for rhiannon. i think it looks cool - i seem to like a lot of feminine rh- names :) (rhea, rhonda, rhiannon...)
