I'm writing a story and these are a list of the character names (well the kids at least):

It's just that a lot of these names are really tied to the 80s and 90s, so if "a future thing" meant the 3000s or something, then I'd say you might want to pick something else. If it's not actually in the future, though, these seem fine to me.

that's an awful lot of characters... i thought in successful story writing you were supposed to limit to about 10-12 main characters, and you've got 22 with just kids? sorry, i know that isn't what you asked about! :P

i agree that robert ryan doesn't fit as well in that sibling family. and jennifer erica kind of sticks out too. the rest of the names are pretty and less common. maybe meagan riley would fit better in that family...?
