Do you think Kaelynn and Gabrielle go together? First name Kaelynn, middle Gabrielle? Kaelynn Gabrielle.

I kind of like it...

Not a huge fan of any version of Kaelynn but I love, love, LOVE Gabrielle.:) And I don't really care if middle names flow well with the first, but it does. I do think you should go with Gabrielle though!(Are you pregnant?)

Yeah, we also want to start trying as soon as I can get some money coming in (so I can get mat leave down the road.) I already have my names picked out but I'm not going to post them here because I don't want to know people's opinion of it, lol. If you like Kaelynn, then go for it. There's always going to be people that love or hate the name you pick out, that's the way I look at it.

Kaelynn doesn't even look like a name. And if it were a name, it doesn't really fit with Gabrielle at all.

Kahlan and Kaelynn don't look like the same name at all. But Kahlan would be a lot better than Kaelynn.

I have no idea what that show is, but I don't understand why someone would spell a name one way and then pronounce it another.

I think if a writer is going to take the time to write a show and name a character, they should like... look the name up or something. I'm not going to name someone "Boob" and then insist it's pronounced "Bob"

There was a Kahlan on America's Next Top Model and she pronounced it "Kaylen"

I don't think they go together stylistically, but it flows nicely.

Too much AY-L sounds for me, plus they're very different styles, which might be controversial.

I think Kaelynn is more modern and Gabrielle is more classic.
Balancing the two may not be a bad idea, because there's more sides to the name, or it might, if you want more coherence within the name.

Well, if I'm pronouncing Kaelynn right, it flows nicely. Kaelynn is NMS, though.

I knew a girl named Cailin (kay-lynn), I'm not sure about other spellings, but I like the sounds, but not the say it's spelled.

I have a good friend named Cailin spelt and pronounced the same ways as well.

Gabrielle is nice enough but Kaelynn is bad, IMO. Looks trendy and made-up. Caitlin Gabrielle would be beautiful.

oooh, I vote for Caitlin Gabrielle.

I think they flow well together. Kaelynn is not my style at all, but I do like Gabrielle.

The only real issue I see is that together, they're a lot of letters, so I'd only use them with a one-syllable last name.

Kaelynn looks somewhat illiterate, Gabrielle is lightweight but nice.

they flow nicely enough.

what about kaylynn? i always misread kaelynn as katelynn, but i usually don't make that mistake with the cay-/kay- beginning.

Purely based on sound, yes.

I like them. My daughter is named Kaelin Annabel, which is similar. I love mixing name styles.

Truthfully, though, even if everyone in the world thinks it sucks together and is controversial it is really all about what the parents think of the names. If you love it, you love it!

With my son, I had the name Kaelyn on my list of girl names. I like it spelled most ways: Kaelyn, Kaelin, Kailin, Kailyn, Kaylin, Kaylen... but I'm not a huge fan of the -lynn (double N) endings for some reason.

But I do like the sound of the names together.
