questions!
May. 25th, 2011 10:29 pmI'm a few weeks from having my daughter and was curious if you folks think the name we've picked works well with her brother and sister's names.
Her brother is Oliver Milo and her sister is Delilah Pepper. Unless she really doesn't seem to suit it, we were planning on calling her Lucy Marigold. What'cha think?
Also, an acquaintance on facebook posted her (fraternal) twin girl's first names and she's due in August- Kailee and Kailyn. I'm not digging it. Where do you draw the line for names being too matchy? I don't mind the same first initial but.. I think those sound way too alike.

I know someone whose 3 children (all single births) are Kayla, Kylie, and Kayden. I could never do something like that!

Date: 2011-05-26 04:30 am (UTC)I'm hoping they all have a good ring to them, they're a lot more whimsical than some folk's tastes and that's ok with me. My friend named her children really long, gorgeous, and very serious sounding names. I love seeing the different styles people have for names, the more distinct the better.
