So I was at the gym yesterday and another mother was collecting her daughter from child minding. She had a personalised back pack that read 'Peri' on the back. The little girl was so sweet - incredibly cute and I was like NAW!

But then... as they were walking away the mother says "Winkle! Come here" and I put two and two together.

Yes. Periwinkle.

I checked this morning on the sign in sheet and her full name is Periwinkle. I don't know whether I love it or hate it!

In other news my friend just had a baby and named her Calypso Pearl.

Periwinkle makes me think of that annoying whiny cat from Blue's Clues. Definitely not for human use.

and Calypso Pearl is.... pretty awful, I think.
