I truly am curious (and not meaning to sound condescending): Why does one name have to be spelled differently (Deziree), and the other completely made up (Daxton?!)?
I honestly am curious what makes certain people lean toward uber-creative names and spellings.
That being said, if you are determined to name your son Daxton, I think Dez and Dax fit well as a sibset, considering.
I had no idea Daxton was made up, I found it on a baby names website actually, and no one would give me an honest opinion of what they thought.
Naming this little guy that's coming in May is 100% up to me, since I was too scared to name Deziree.. haha being 16 when I had her I never named anything more than my cat. But yeah, I got plenty of opinions now, and definately am not going with Dax.
I have always liked hearing new and unique names, but I always lean toward traditional simply because I dread having to constantly spell out or pronounce names for people.
I think going with something 'x' themed is still cute, and works with Dezz.
From previous suggestions, I think: Dexter Axel Baxter
What is your husband's taste like? Maybe if we knew some names that he likes, we can help find common ground for both of you! =)
LOL the only thing I know about him and names is that he doesn't like anything that can be made fun of. And hes not a fan of one syllable's either. He's difficult.. Hes only named one of his other 3 kids and his name is Jessy. I wanted to do a D name but now I'm just hearing the same things over and over so I might just not even do a D name anymore.
