babynamesok so ladies--- what do you do when you finally start narrowing down your list of names and then your SO turns down almost every single one of them???
Every time i start to fall in love with a name he's like "no"
I mean I feel like i should be able to name one boy and one girl anything i want b/c i compromised and said the first boy and girl are names he and HIS family like....
I like them ....now.. but i would have NEVER chosen these names on my own... none of them were even on my list---ever!!!

Date: 2006-07-26 04:12 pm (UTC)The first time, I just kept throwing out names until he got tired of it and agreed to one randomly just to shut me up. =X That's how I got Ivy.
The second time, we made huge lists, and vetoed, and added, and fought, and cried.. and ended up with a comprimise. Neither one of us really love it, but we don't dislike it either.. and that's how I got Leah. I'm sure if I were still pregnant, she wouldn't have a name.. she was only officially named less than 24 hours before she was born, and I was 8 days overdue.. LOL
