I have loved the name Ginger since i was 3years old due to my best friend at the time (well only friend hehe) Anyways I have stillloved it to this day and really want to use it. When i say the name i think of Ginger Rogers... but most people seem to think of a stirpper or something, which saddens me greatly...
maybe i'll use it for a middle name...
what do you think???

I don't have any associations with other people called Ginger because i don't know anyone with that name, and I don't know who the famous people with that name are.

It sounds like a pet's name to me. I've known a ginger tabby cat called Ginger. I think that is the reason why people think of it as a stripper name - pet names sound like stripper names, like misty, smoky, sootie, soxy, fifi, etc... (can't think of good examples but you get my drift)

So in that sense, I don't think I personally like Ginger as a full name because it doesn't sound like it belongs on a human adult. But it does have meaning for you, and at least it's not a bizarre unpronouncable thing that nobody will remember.
