I really hope someone can help me. I'm nearly 37 weeks pregnant with my second boy. I'm due on January 28th but scheduled to be induced on the 24th (if I make it to then). My boyfriend and I cannot agree on ANY names for this baby and I'm starting to lose hope. Nothing he likes is really clicking for me and everything that does click for me and feels like that could be the name, he says no to. It makes me sad because we came up with our first son's name the day we found out he was a boy and then just had to decide on a middle name. I'm super frustrated and I just need to find something. So I'm asking for suggestions. Our 2 year old son's name is Carter Erik Nelson. Carter we both loved right away, Erik is my boyfriend's name, and Nelson is his last name. I'm trying to find something that will sound nice with Carter. I feel I have a hard time because of the last name sometimes. A lot of names I like end in "N" or "son". The "N" might be okay but "son" is a no go. I'm open to anything but we don't really like "odd" names and I we can't stand any of the "den" names (Aiden, Jaden, Hayden, etc). We don't want anything outrageous but we also don't want anything that's really common. Any suggestions would be great though as I feel like I'm out of ideas.

I feel you because my son wasn't named until I was 38 weeks!

What I finally did was make a list of about 50 names and make him cross out the ones he absolutely hated. We were left with four named and it wasn't difficult to narrow it down from there.

Our son's name is Weston, by the way. Might be too rhymey with Carson, but it doesn't end in -son! :)

I have a list on babynames.com and I keep deleting and adding to it. I ask him about certain names and he always says no so they end up coming off. I might just have to make him sit down with me until we make a decision or at least narrow it down to a few choices. I just hate that I can't even refer to this baby as his name like I did for his brother the entire second half of my pregnancy. :/ And I hate that everyone keeps asking if we picked a name yet (some have asked several times) and I keep having to say no and get even more frustrated.

I like Weston and our son's name is actually Carter, not Carson. However his last name will be Nelson so I worry it's too rhymey with that.
