I've read it can be a girl's name which is strange to me because in French it's the equivalent of Noah as in Noah's Arc (L'Arche de Noé.) Never would have thought it was a girl's name. I like Zoé as well, definitely on my list.

Perhaps it's a Dutch thing! Names ending in é are definitely female here =).

Oh I see...In French there's a lot of guy name ending in é, René, André etc.
