It's a name that I like in theory... I think it's really nice and it suits my style etc. BUT.. the way people pronounce it here (Australia) sounds a bit gross to me. We say it kind of like -- be-YANK-uh, and some people in particular make it sound not so nice. If I could enforce a softer pronunciation onto everyone, I would really love this name, but because most people I know would pronounce it too harshly, I consider it more of an "alright" sort of name..although, I wish I could like it more.
(PS - I don't like the way Australians pronounce my own name either)
