I've just found out my friend Rebecca 'Becky' Louise called her new baby Lilly-Mae Edith.
Other recent births:
Kadie-Leigh (Bailey 2, Kenzie 10 months)
Moni Jade (Chelsea Blair, Jessica Paige Lee, Edan Lonsdale, Lozzi Merrygold)
Ella-Mai
Ruebens Elijah (Noah James)
Cady-Louise
Also, is Lily becoming really popular? It seems that every other girl in my kids playgroup is called Lily or Maddie.

I dislike Lilly with 2 Ls, and I hate hyphens in names. Edith, however, I like. :)

I think Lily was popular a few years back (though I'm 23 and my middle name is Lilly after my great-grandma), along with Madison/Madelyn. I'm a preschool teacher and seem to have more Rubys and Arianas in my classes now than anything else. Actually, it seems like a lot of the "older," more classic names are making returns: I've had a Lucille, Henry, Frank, Claire, Jack, Rose Katherine, Violet, Emerson, August, Finnian (and Finnegan), a couple Rubys, and others along that vein. It's kind of nice to have the resurgence since I love the names, but it's also a bit unfortunate since it means many of my favorite names are becoming far too popular.
Here's hoping I won't have any more Josephines or Willas besides the two a couple years ago!
