I've just found out my friend Rebecca 'Becky' Louise called her new baby Lilly-Mae Edith.

Other recent births:
Kadie-Leigh (Bailey 2, Kenzie 10 months)
Moni Jade (Chelsea Blair, Jessica Paige Lee, Edan Lonsdale, Lozzi Merrygold)
Ella-Mai
Ruebens Elijah (Noah James)
Cady-Louise

Also, is Lily becoming really popular? It seems that every other girl in my kids playgroup is called Lily or Maddie.

I like Lily Mae but not Lily-Mae Edith. IDK why.

I hate Edith. & I'm not super crazy about hyphens in names, double first names are okay without the stupid hyphen!

Is there a story behind the Moni/Chelsea/Jessica/Edan/Lozzi Merrygold sibset? I am so confused by that combination.

Unless they're short for Cadence, I do not understand the trend of spelling Katie/Katy/Catie with a D in the middle.

I think Lily was extremely popular and trendy 5 or 6 years ago. Now it seems to be so commonplace it is the Jennifer of the 2010's. I rate it right up there with Emma, Madison, and Olivia.

I dislike Lilly with 2 Ls, and I hate hyphens in names. Edith, however, I like. :)

A friend of mine is named Edith (though we call her either Edie or Ed (E.D.) She quite likes having the "old lady" name, though it took her awhile to grow into appreciating it.

I think Lily was popular a few years back (though I'm 23 and my middle name is Lilly after my great-grandma), along with Madison/Madelyn. I'm a preschool teacher and seem to have more Rubys and Arianas in my classes now than anything else. Actually, it seems like a lot of the "older," more classic names are making returns: I've had a Lucille, Henry, Frank, Claire, Jack, Rose Katherine, Violet, Emerson, August, Finnian (and Finnegan), a couple Rubys, and others along that vein. It's kind of nice to have the resurgence since I love the names, but it's also a bit unfortunate since it means many of my favorite names are becoming far too popular.
Here's hoping I won't have any more Josephines or Willas besides the two a couple years ago!
