[identity profile] super-bitch06.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I saw Lillian crop up on a post here a while ago (don't remember which one) and ever since it's been in the back of my mind. I'm too lazy to go back and look to see what everyone thinks of it, so I'll just ask for opinions again!! Also, middle names?

How would you pronounce the name Jaya? If you wanted it to sound like JIE-ah, how would you spell it? Then, of course, what do you think of it in general.

Then, I found these twin girls names on a myspace group, WDYT:
Fiona Brenna and Kaitriona Elizabeth ::gag::

And I have to ask.. what do you think when you hear the name Brooke Otis? (I don't know the middle name, sorry) I just wanna see if anyone else has the same reaction that I did...

I like Lillian. I like Jillian better.

I would pronounce Jaya the way you seem to want it pronounced JIE-ah. I love it. (I was actually trying to think of how I was going to write out the prounciation and then you did in the next sentence lol)

Fiona Brenna I could handle on a random child, but Kaitriona (wow) Elizabeth is just horrible IMO.

Brooke Otis. I hate it. Is it a girl or a guy? Brooke is pretty much a girl's name to me but Otis is definitely a male name. And there's another name on top of that? Poor child regardless of gender.

it also sounds kind of like precocious. Like a mixture of bronchitus and precocious. it's a bad combination.
