My great grandmother's name was Odessa :)I actually came across Emmeline on an old gravestone and saw Lurancy on TV.

Emmeline is gorgeous as well. I think it's not quite as obscure as Odessa, though.

My family has some names that I like - Clarissa, Frances, Neva, and Julietta. :-)

Minnilee was my paternal grandmother. I've never heard that anywhere else, so I don't know if her mother just put Minnie and Lee together or what.
My husband is 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 Native Hawaiian. His great great great ...great grandmother's name is Puakailima Kaholokula and he has many other really cool uncommon older names on the Hawaiian side.

I've never heard Neva before either. I like it a lot though.

I really like Odessa! It reminds me of the Swan Princess, even though her name was Odette, I believe. I like Odessa better :p

Emmeline is also super pretty, and Lurancy is kind of interesting, I think I like it! I have an affinity for L names lol.

My grandmothers were Joycelie (joy-cell-ee), Vita Pearl, Sylvia, and Augusta . I think most of those are pretty uncommon.
