Apple Martin

I saw Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter's name in print for what might have been the first time yesterday, and it was then that I realized that little Apple Martin is one i away from becoming Apple Martini.

That poor child is going to have it rough. The first name alone is questionable, but all it'll take is one kid in school who misreads her name, and she'll wind up Appletini. :/

I love the name Apple, and with the last name - I really like it. I have seen it in print a hundred times, but never realized it. I actually really *like* it.

Yeah. It would suck if she was a normal kid. Except she probably won't actually have it that rough because her parents are rich and famous and that makes everything OK :/

I think Apple is a cute name.

(Actually, Apple has been growing on me quite a lot recently. I don't know. Maybe it's because she has a good-looking daddy who sings really prettily? No, I'm not that shallow when it comes to names.)
