Is it totally ridiculous?
I once knew a girl named Prairie; I thought her name was so silly. (Made worse by the fact that she said her *true* name was "sssssshhhhhhhiiissssss" this weird whistle sound that was supposedly the sound of wind blowing tall grass. She was raised in a commune as a Rainbow Child or in the Rainbow Family... whatever it's called.)
What's worse? Prairie or Meadow? (I think we'll all agree that the sound of wind in grass is beyond limits insane.)

Date: 2006-07-19 12:17 am (UTC)I came in contact with lots of 'unique', hippie, Rainbow names too, but I was little, so I only I remember, Redwood(this woman actually looked like a redwood. She was reeeeally tall and pretty and had long copper-red hair. I think her name was really Catherine, tho.) and Riverman, who just looked like a handsome homeless man.
Prairie is bad.
Meadow, however, is not.
And if my name was the sound of the wind whistling through the grass, I'd kill myself.
