Jul. 18th, 2006 02:03 pmThe only baby name book I have as yet is The New Jewish Baby Book by Anita Diamant. It is not even a baby name book per se, it just has a section with names in it. But I digress. I was looking through it today and thought I would post some names I really like, but are not on my list (Asher, Elijah, and Caleb for boys and Mirah, Adara, and Leah for girls) because relatives already have them, or my boyfriend disapproves, or they are a little too Hebrew for my non Jewish family, and see what you all think. Don't worry about hurting my feelings if you don't like them, as I said they aren't on my "official list" right now anyhow.

Date: 2006-07-19 08:34 pm (UTC)Ariel - Ok, but I'll admit I like this more for a girl now.
Gideon - Always makes me think "get it on."
Isaac - Love
Nathaniel - Nice
Seth - My ex-boyfriends name. I actually never liked it. It's hard to say clearly. I always had saying "what?" when I said his name.
Aviva - Love
Aliyah - Too pop culture for me now.
Chaya - Nice
Devorah - Nms
Delilah - Nice
Hadassah - Nms
Hannah - Too overdone
Keturah - Nice
Kinneret - Love
Levana - Eh
Shoshana - Nice
Tzipporah - Would be cool on someone who could pull it off.
