Sep. 1st, 2010 12:25 pmI am obsessed right now with the name Catriona, but I'm not sure exactly how to say it. I've heard it is pronounced like Katrina, but some people say that it involves the Gaelic half-syllable, and comes out as "Ka-TREE-uh-na." What do you guys think? To be completely honest, I like the second way better, but if I am going to add this to my list, I want to get it right.

Date: 2010-09-02 12:36 pm (UTC)these English/Scottish people (http://nl.forvo.com/word/catriona_maccoll#en) pronounce it like Katrina as well, this (http://inogolo.com/pronunciation/Catriona) website says Katree-un-uh. Like Katrina with a slight extra vowel.
