Alice is one of my best friends names, but I'm not sure that that is why I like it so much. It's simple but classic, and suits all ages I think. It conjures up a lovely picture of a girl for me :)

I love it too. I love how it can suit a toddler, a teenager, an adult, an older person. Alice is a family name for my husband and me, and it's a prospective name (one of four) for our baby due in December. If it's a girl anyway... :)
