Hi guys, sorry this is so delayed. I'm now doing the boy's names that were on the babynames site. I'll put them all together, I think.

Here is the link to my second post, which contains a link to my first post, lol. Basically, it's a calculation of how many names are on the potential baby names lists made by users, to see the most popular ones.

So, without further ado:

The most popular name for boys is a tie between Henry and Oliver, with eleven mentions apiece.

Phew. Just one question ... well, actually, about a zillion I could ask, but why in the world would you name your kid Zero?!?! Hi, low self-esteem problem from BIRTH.  And I can't get over Cocoa - for a boy. Well, this person had it listed on white (for either/or) but they did have some for just girls and some for just boys, so I don't know, it seems like they purposely put it for either/or. Not that it's a great name for a girl, either... but for a boy? Seriously?

In response to your Zero question, there was an actor whose stage name was Zero Mostel (his birth name was Samuel Joel Mostel source (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0609216/bio)). Also, Hector Zeroni from Holes is nicknamed Zero. I don't know if that really "legitimizes" the name, but it's also not the first usage.

Oh, yes, I forgot about the character from Holes! Zero was an awesome character ... but I don't think I'd name my kid after him, just because I couldn't disassociate it with 0 ;)

I agree with you on that. I feel like it's one of those names that when you're introduced to someone/a character with that name, it's no big deal, but when you consider it by itself, it's like, "No way, it has such-and-such connotation for me." (Or at least, the second part of that is true for me with a lot of names.)

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I've met people before with names that suit them perfectly, but when you really think about it, they're not that great.

But for me, personally, I wouldn't go with Zero. But that's just me :p
