Jul. 17th, 2010 09:15 pm so a coworker of my moms 15-year-old granddaughter had a baby boy today named Shuyler Jo.
uhm what do you guys think? i want to know what a Shuyler is. and why is Jo spelled the female way??

Date: 2010-07-19 02:07 pm (UTC)"Schuyler" is a very old-fashioned spelling of the Dutch last name "Schuiler". The verb "schuilen" means "to seek cover".
I don't like Skyler to begin with, but the whole Schuyler thing just makes me raise an eyebrow.
