other than that i don't hate the other names.

I love Colin, Caleb and Nathaniel. Also like Oliver, Henry, and Nicholas.
Absolutely love Cecily and Juliet, like Anna and Catherine, love the nn Evie but prefer it for Evelyn rather than Eve, like Eleanor and Lydia.

Alexander "Sasha" - nice strong name, love the nn... I'm so tired of Alex!
Arthur - alright
Asher - eh, kinda hipster
August - nice, it's earthy but refined at the same time
Callum - like, very flannel-shirt-wearing
Caleb - a bit bland to me
Calvin - not a huge fan, it's a bit stuffy
Colin - like, very friendly
Gabriel - meh, a little blah
Garrett - okay, but I can't get over how it sounds like carrot
Graham - love, such a huggable name
Henry - love it, very handsome and regal
Jeremiah - don't hate, but only because of a character in a book. Because I dislike Jerem- and -iah, so yeah!
Jonas - alright, but also a little too... I wear a white undershirt for a t-shirt and play guitar and need a haircut.
Levi - okay, but it seems too youthful and only makes me think of jeans
Louis - love, and with either pronunciation.
Max - nice enough, it's kind and straight to the point
Miles - like, it's very intelligent
Morgan - I used to love this, but now it's down to like. I just got bored of it, I think.
Nathaniel - okay, it's a bit generic
Nicholas - love, very nice and scientific. Plus it's my husband's fn and son's mn. :)
Oliver - like, especially with nn Noll
Sage - not my style, too wordy
Samuel - loved this for a long time, but I got bored with it. Still a nice, cuddly name, though.
Thomas - like a lot, very classic and strong
no subject
Anna - not really a fan, but I LOVE Anne. My #2 girl's name.
Audrey - nice, very dark and alluring
Catherine "Cate" or "Cat" - love it, prefer Cate b/w those nns
Charlotte "Charlie"? - very fresh, sweet name, but not convinced on Charlie as a nn. It would work if your Charlotte was an upbeat, athletic girl, I think. I just started liking Lottie as a nn, even though I didn't used to.
Cecily - nah, it's too incomplete and it annoys me for no other real reason. I'd rather see Cecilia. Plus the character in The Importance of Being Earnest is kind of obnoxious. :P
Eleanor - love it, wanted to use it but wouldn't anymore (but not for lack of liking it). I love Nora as a nn, but Nell is very sentimental, too.
Elizabeth "Lizzie" or "Ellie" or "Beth"? - Love it, my #4/5 name. Can't get much more classic, and it's so fresh and open and white. I'd rather see Lizzie or Beth, Ellie is too cutesy-trendy. But all three are nice. My favorite is Nell, and I also like Libby and Bess.
Eve "Evie" - Evie is totally adorable, but I don't really like Eve. It's obnoxious to me, and I actually think it's because Eve = Eden = an annoying girl I went to high school with! Silly.
Felicity - nice, I used to think it was frilly and prissy and disliked it, but for awhile now I've found it to be stronger, and it's a pleasant light yellow, but not washed out.
Imogen - nice, though a bit posh
Ivy - really like, I get a wonderful image from it that would take an entire paragraph to describe. Which I can, if you'd like. :)
Jane "Janie" - very sophisticated and literary, and cute nn
Juliet - like, very musical and burgundy, and like a smooth red wine being poured into a glass. Good associations, too.
Kasia - I've never seen this before. *looks it up* Ah, it's okay. Not a huge fan of the sound, and would rather see it as a nn, maybe.
Lauren - nice, very girl-next-door-y
Lavender - ehhh, it's sickeningly sweet, I'm afraid. And I'm not a huge fan of the smell. :P
Leah - dislike, don't like the sound and I've never met a Leah who wasn't one of the most annoying people ever.
Linden - ?? This is a boy's name. I was about to say, yay, very handsome and gentle and businessy, then remembered I was in the girl's list. :(
Louisa - very pretty and bright, with a sense of humor
Lydia - nice, it's quiet and dark
Madeline - like, very elegant
Margaret "Meg" - my absolute favorite #1 name of all-time! We plan to name our first daughter this. I could gush about it forever, so I won't. Meg is a very nice nn, and I'd use it except that we decided we couldn't not think of the Family Guy character. So my tops are Mae and Mamie, though I do like Margo and Greta. And DH likes Maggie.
May - love! So fresh and springy and caring and gorgeous.
Mia - okay, it has a nice exotic thing going on
Susannah - like, it's sweet and cute and light blue and prairie-girl-y. Like the folksong, too! How cool would it be to have your name in a folksong?
Tamsin - alright. I want to like this more, but I just can't. I think the sound is too masculine.

Boys:
Alexander "Sasha" - I have always thought of Sasha as a girl's name, even though in Russian it's indeed masculine. I think you could try to nickname Alexander Sasha, but kids and teaches will revert to Alex automatically. Sasha isn't going to happen!
Arthur - meh...I always think of the PBS cartoon when I hear that name.
Asher - coole, but maybe a bit trendy?
August - Nope
Callum - Nope
Caleb - OK
Calvin - Nope
Colin - Probably my favorite boy name EVER
Gabriel - classic, people are going to call him Gabe, just so you know :)
Garrett - Eh...maybe it's just because I haven't met a nice Garret, but it doesn't thrill me...
Graham - I always think of senator Lindesy Graham!
Henry - Another classic...I guess this depends on your last name. I'm not a fan because it seems sort of plain, but it's a matter of taste, really
Jeremiah - Ok, not crazy about it
Jonas - I think w/ the Jonas brothers this will be very, very trendy in about 10 years when the teeny boppers start cranking out kids
Levi - Ok
Louis - Ok
Max - I'd say Maxwell with Max as a nn
Miles - I dig it! Like Miles Davis
Morgan - I always see this as a girl's name
Nathaniel - AWESOME, I am considering this & Caleb if I have a boy!
Nicholas - Good
Oliver - Eh...depends on the last name. Could be great, or the kid could hate you for it
Sage - Another one that I think of as a girl...I would use it for a girl but def. not for a boy!
Samuel - Another classic name, I like it
Thomas - Kind of plain, but still ok
Girls:
Adah - Nope
Anna - Ok
Audrey - Little trendy, I think
Catherine "Cate" or "Cat" - I like Cat...some of my favorite people are named Cat!
Charlotte "Charlie"? - I love Charlotte, but not necessarily Charlie
Cecily - Nope
Eleanor - Nope
Elizabeth "Lizzie" or "Ellie" or "Beth"? - Great, great name
Eve "Evie" - Like in V for Vendetta?
Felicity - Nah.
Imogen - Like Imogen Heap? I think a little girl probably wouldn't like this one!
Ivy - <3
Jane "Janie" - sort of plain
Juliet - I'd say Julia instead, I've never like Juliet
Kasia - how is this pronounced?
Lauren - I'm partial to this one :-D As a Lauren myself, I've never had any troubles with it, and it's not so common that I'm always around six other Laurens
Lavender - nah...I'd say Laurel maybe if you're going for a flower name
Leah - kind of a plain name, again
Linden - really uncommon, but I like it a lot
Louisa - Another one of those old fashioned names, I don't meet a lot of Louisas so if you're looking for something unique but still 'normal' this is a good one
Lydia - A little catty-sounding, like Cruella DeVille or something haha - but that's just my gut reaction and probably unfair!
Madeline - I LOVE IT!
Margaret "Meg" - or Megan
May - So, so pretty!
Mia - cool. I knew a girl named Mia (pronounced it Meeyah) and she was awesome.
Susannah - Nah...
Tamsin - Also a nope
