Short and Simple

A friend of mine is currently expecting and the baby will have a very long last name (It's one of those long, Italian names with, I think, 12 letters.). Anyway, she's hoping to give the baby (a girl) a short, simple first name(under 5 letters).

This got me wondering, what are your favorite "short and simple" names? (for either gender)

Mine are:
Girls - Rose, Ava/Eva, Beth, Emma, and Joan
Boys - Owen, Ryan, and Seth
