WTF mixing styles?
May. 17th, 2010 07:03 pmThis morning on the bus I saw a young-ish(I'd guess mid 20s?) with twin boys who looked about 2 or so, and when they got off the bus near the daycare in town, I saw that the boys' names were written on the back of their little baseball caps:
Caedyn and Phillip
My question to you is, would you ever mix styles so drastically? With twins? What are your thoughts on mixing styles?

Date: 2010-05-18 01:19 am (UTC)I don't think I'll end up with matchy names for my future offspring, but they'll be diverse from a cultural standpoint. For example, I want to honor my late Italian grandfather, whose name was Nicola (Nee-coh-la).
But within the English-accepted spectrum of names, it does irk me too, to see a trendy name like Kylie in a sibset with more traditional or complex names like Victoria or Genevieve.
