Associations

My husband and I had a lot of trouble naming our daughter, because we played word association with a lot of names. He'd say "Lydia" and I said, "eyelids!" My friend said, "Nyla." DH said, "Nylon string!"

What are some of your word associations that go with names? Especially the bad/funny ones that would be such an overpowering association that it would prevent you from naming a kid that.

Ethan - makes me think of ethanol
Xander/Zander - makes me think of dander and danderuff
Margot - makes me think of escargot/snails
Scarlett - makes me think of scars
Lucas/Luke - mucus/puke
