Associations

My husband and I had a lot of trouble naming our daughter, because we played word association with a lot of names. He'd say "Lydia" and I said, "eyelids!" My friend said, "Nyla." DH said, "Nylon string!"

What are some of your word associations that go with names? Especially the bad/funny ones that would be such an overpowering association that it would prevent you from naming a kid that.

This is one of those things that's hard to come up with on the spot for me.

My #1 name, Margaret, makes me think of margarine.

Marjorie is even more like margerine... but it's my grandmother's name so at least I think of her first, before margerine
