Name change?

Hello everybody. I want to change my first name, but I need a little help finding one that suits me. My given name is Karen Alyssa. I only go by Alyssa. If someone calls me Karen, I cringe. It doesn't fit me in the slightest. It's too serious and I need a name that is kind of...not. I need a name that is not serious, that's kind of fun, and suits my quirky personality.

Alyssa can be my first or middle name, it doesn't matter to me.

Also, my last name is two syllables and ends in -y.

And, I understand the hassles of changing your name. I'm not going to just jump into it. I'm going to give it some serious thought, because I don't want to regret it later.

If you're going to change your name, and you go by Alyssa, I would absolutely move that to the first-name slot. There's no reason not to and it will save so much headache. I also go by my middle name, and it is a pain and a half. It would be awesome to have an opportunity to move it to the first slot.

I think you should pick a word/name that maybe relates more to your self-image or personality? I mean, probably not something like "Alyssa Bubbly" but... idk. I do think it should definitely be more on the unique/personal side just because you're choosing it for yourself.
