i never liked travis. then i went to college and one of my dearest friends was named travis and changed my picture of the name. it still isnt a name id use anymore, but it doesnt have negative trashy connotations for me anymore either. :)
i think in a few years it will sound fresh again. i like its sound, but i place it in the context of justin/dustin/jason/derek, etc., and i think it needs a few years to age.
and it's definitely better than the common male T names (Tyler, Taylor) that have been used a lot on girls. I don't think you'd have that problem with Travis :)
