Two Part First Names
Feb. 10th, 2010 10:49 amI was surfing around the other day and ended up playing with the babynamegenie. Hated almost all the genie's suggestions LOL. BUT, a question in the letter section got me thinking. The person asked about more modern two part first names - their mom grew up with Mary Jane and the like. The genie suggested Alexa Grace and Zoe Claire. What do you think and what are some other suggestions for two as one names?

Date: 2010-02-11 06:27 am (UTC)I remember reading a book when I was younger about two sisters who get stuck in a library overnight, and either one or both of the girls had double names like that. I remember falling in love with their names and thinking of other names I could mix and match with them.
Ah, just googled the book, and their names were Mary Rose and Jo-Beth. :) I think short names with one or two syllables work well for names like that.
