Usually news in my area does a story about the first baby of the new year. They mentioned her name :Emma and then went on to describe a story about another baby born on the way to the hospital.

The mother says she's been told that since she's struggling for a name for her new baby girl, she should name her after the street she (the baby) was born on: Scarlette Street.
The mother doesn't give a definitive answer.
What do you think about the name?

If you were named after the street you were born on/grew up on what sort of wacky name would you have?

Do you think its appropriate to be named after a street?

I'd drop that e on the end, but if you can't think of anything else, why the hell not?

We moved a lot, so just picking where my mom lived when I was born, I'd be named Marcia, which is not terrible. Better than the other streets we lived on while I was growing up. ;)
