A friend of my mum's became a surprise grandma a week before Christmas. Her daughter had a little girl called Ryleigh. I'm not keen on the name, but it's not awful.

Ugh. It's not a horrible name, but it's way too popular. She'll be one of many Ryleighs/Rileys/Rylees/etc.

I don't think that the name is too common in the UK yet, but I'm sure the wave is coming.
