A friend of my mum's became a surprise grandma a week before Christmas. Her daughter had a little girl called Ryleigh. I'm not keen on the name, but it's not awful.

I don't like that name at all, and I dislike that spelling even more than Riley. :/

I don't really care either way about the name. But, I know a girl that named her son Riley and I just couldn't see calling a grown man "Riley". It seems cute for little kids but that's it.

Riley is bad enough...

I hate all forms of Riley and I soooo loath the changing of lee/ly/whatever for leigh because to me it's not even the same sound really...

Ugh. It's not a horrible name, but it's way too popular. She'll be one of many Ryleighs/Rileys/Rylees/etc.

I like the spelling. Riley for a girl seems too masculine.

I think it's the spelling that I hate; I'm completely indifferent to Riley.

I have a friend who named her daughter Ryleigh. And how do you become a surprise grandma?!?!?!

This this this! Did she just not know her daughter was pregnant or something? I'm so confused...

I feel like Riley belongs more on a pet than a person.

I like the name Riley a lot, except that it is too popular for my liking at the moment. I do prefer the spelling Reilly (for a guy) and Riley (for a girl).

I read that as "R'lyeh" for a second.

Which kinda encompasses all that is wrong with that spelling.

I kind of like Riley on a boy, dislike it on a girl, and I really don't like that spelling.
