Helio Castroneves (Indy 500 winner, Dancing with the Stars champ) and his girlfriend have had their first child, a daughter named Mikaella. I assume it's pronounced Michaela, but it's a new spelling for me. The double-L's make me want to say it differently, though, so I'm not sure.

god. that is such a horrible name, in any of its versions. why do people keep perpetuating it?

i can tolerate michaela because thats proper but otherwise? no.
