I've been liking the name Quinn (f) for a while. WDYT? Also, what kind of middle names comes to your mind with this name?

I recently asked this same question! Here were the responses (http://community.livejournal.com/baby_names/4754323.html).

I think it sounds too masculine for a girl, personally. But it does seem pretty quirky and upbeat.

I've always loved the name Quinn. I really like Quinn Rose. I feel like you wouldn't be able to use Isabella/Elizabeth/Victoria, etc because it sounds too much like Queen Isabella/Elizabeth/Victoria, etc.

Good call! I didn't even think of the Quinn Victoria thing. That would be kind of hilarious.

(A side note, my grandpa wanted to name one of his children Claire Annette...luckily it turned out to be a boy!)

I think it's cute, probably the cutest of the gender neutral names for girls. I know an adult (~30) female Quinn and she is awesome. I also know a few little Quinns, both boys and girls, and it suits them all well. I agree with previous posters, I like Quinn with a longer and more feminine middle.

I pretty much hate it. I think that it would need a fairly feminine middle name, since Quinn is kind of not.

I think it should be paired with a really feminine middle name that is a little longer. I would advise against Victoria, Elizabeth, etc. because of that "Queen Elizabeth" sound.

I love Quinn on both boys and girls, I agree with the feminine middle for little girls.

I still see it as a boy's name. :\

I like Quinn, but I prefer it for a middle name.

Quinn used to be on boys a lot, so I always associate it with said gender. I used to love it, but since it has gotten popular [on girls]...I don't really like it much anymore. =/

I like Quinn for a girl but people always said that it's a boy's name when I was looking for feedback.

I really like Quinn. I like it more as a middle name though but that is probably just because I could not find a middle name tat sounded right with it.

i really like quinn, but can't think of a good middle name for it.
