I think Louisiana is kind of pretty (prettier than Alabama or Dakota, at least), but the extra "n" is pointless. and I don't like Ray on a girl. all in all, it had potential but failed :/
oh, man. if I made that mistake after reading it several times, I can just imagine how many people will make that mistake throughout this kid's lifetime. poor girl.
WTF? I thought it was Louisianna and was horrified. This is worse because everyone will think it's Louisianna and the poor child will spend her whole life correcting people.
"Louisiana?!" D: I thought it was Louisiana with an extra "n." I didn't even notice it -wasn't- until I read previous comments, lol. So it's what, Louie-anna? Lewis-anna/auna? Whatever it is, it's really bad and looks like a lot when written.
It took me a couple tries to figure out it wasn't Louisiana, so I'm not sure what to think. I think I'd rather Louisiana, actually; Louisanna is just awkward to say and weird.
I think Louisiana would have been better. At least stick a hyphen in there lady! I thought it was Louisiana, just like everyone else, until I noticed the comments. I think a nickname will be quickly made up as soon as the kid can manage it.

Then... I can't decide how to pronounce it. Lewie-anna? Lew-anna? Loo-ees-anna? Lewis-auna? Loo-ees-auna?
And Ray is bad.
