I don't like Callum - it reminds me callus. Graham is a nice name but I have associations with it. And Linus reminds me of the Peanuts - too bad that's such a strong association because it's a nice name

LOVE the name Greta, especially as a nickname for Margaret! I love Louisa. Lenore is okay, I prefer Eleanor.

I like Callum and Louisa, I really like Graham, and Margaret is my favorite girl's name of all time, which we plan to use for our first daughter. Greta is an adorable nn, though not one of my top picks. Linus is alright, but I don't like Lenore.

I like Linus, but it reminds me of the Peanuts.

I knew a girl named Graham, so I consider that one a feminine name.

I love Louisa.

All the others are okay, but not my style.

I love Callum. Don't care for the others, thought Greta could be really cute on a child these days.

Callum (Cal-um, not collumn) - Not a fan. It strikes me along the lines of Cullen.
Linus - I like the idea, I like it on paper, but I don't really like how it sounds out loud (a little nasal?).
Graham - Big fan. If my ex hadn't named his son Graham I would consider it for a future child.

Margaret, nn Greta - Love. Greta is a great nickname, also love Maggie.
Lenore - See Linus above. I like the idea, don't like how it sounds out loud.
Louisa (loo-EEsuh) - I really like it.

I love the name Linus! I just can't get anyone to agree with me. I am having a boy in a few weeks and we haven't decided on a name yet, but hubby can't get over the fact that everyone seems to dislike the name Linus... Before peanuts, it was considered a very nice name. It is also a Bible name. I like to think of the Bogart (Harrison Ford also played him) character in 'Sabrina'.

I also had Graham high on my list. Looks like we are gonna end up with a Noah or Grayson though.

Love love love Linus and Graham! If my DH didn't think of the peanuts character and Benjamin Linus, Linus would be on our list. Graham is so classy and so underused. Callum is a nice name, not my style, but I get why other people like it.

Both Margaret and Lenore are kind of so-so to me, although I love Louisa! I knew a Dane named Louisa once, and it was a beautiful name on a beautiful girl. I've liked it ever since. However, I'm not a fan of the name Louise (lou-EEZ), and I'd worry that people would call a Lousia Louise as a nn.

Callum-- no strong feelings. As I may have said before, it always makes me think of talcum powder, for some reason.
Linus-- makes me think of Charlie Brown's friend with the blanket. But considering he was adorable and the most sensible of the bunch, that's not necessarily bad.
Graham-- graham crackers. I just really can't warm to this name, especially on a child. It just doesn't compute.

Margaret, nn Greta-- I love Margaret. Greta's okay. I know Greta started as a nickname for Margaret, but by now the names have diverged so much in the public consciousness, if you want to call her Greta I really think you should name her Greta.
Lenore-- makes me think of Edgar Allan Poe. "The Raven." It's not bad, but I prefer more flowery, lyrical versions of the name, like Elinor, Leonora, etc.
Louisa-- I cannot stand Louise; Louisa is considerably better, but still not a favorite.

My picks: Linus and Margaret.

Callum is the only one I like. Lenore reminds me of "Lenor" the washing-machine-soap so that is probably my least favourite... next to Linus.

I like Linus, and Margaret but not Greta. I like Maggie or Molly as a nickname for Margaret.

I adore Callum and Lenore (and Lenora, Leonore, Leonora, etc) and I like Louisa as a mn (I really dislike Lou as a nn, so I would personally use it as a mn).
