Jun. 28th, 2006 06:09 pmAt my sister's wedding Saturday night I was talking to this woman who works with my dad. She's 6 months pregnant with a boy and I asked her and her husband if they knew what they were going to name him yet. They said they are thinking about Colin (or Collin, I didn't ask how they're spelling it) and I said, "Oh, that's a nice name." Then the husband said, "And we are thinking of Logan for the middle name."
GASP.
Me: Oh. No, don't do that. Too many "in" sounds. That's not good. Please don't name your kid Colin Logan.
I sincerely hope they consider my advice. Maybe I can save this kid from a lifetime with a terrible name.
Oh, and did I mention that the last name ends with an "in" sound as well?
People just don't think.
