Alright, so I've been commenting like crazy for a bit & in the meantime, I've narrowed all my random, obssessive name collecting into 2 short lists.  I have a stepson (who lives w/us) named Logan Allen & my daughter is Amelia Drew.  In an ideal world, I'd like to have one more boy & one more girl.   so with that in mind, which (if any) of these names do you like & which ones would make a good sibset w/Amelia & Logan? (& each other...)  Also, any mn suggestions would be welcomed. :)

these are the only boys names I've picked that my hubby will consider (and the last 3 I'm not even sure of...).  I refuse to show him the girls names as I change them a little more frequently (I have a terrible time with boys names.) Let me not even tell you what I had to do to get my husband to agree to the name Amelia...  anyway.

I like Aeris Brynn, Thea (but not Cynthea), I'm not a huge fan of Matilda, but I think Mattie is an adorable nickname. I also really like Brynn and Annika. Brenna Aeris is nice too.

I like the name Declan, your combinations are all fine, but I dont think Declan Vincent sounds as good as the others.

I really like the rest of your boys names too, I kind of like the name hunter, but I really dont like hunting, so it ruins it for me haha.

yeah, I have the same issues w/ Thea, and Hunter for that matter. and Vincent is way negotiable. it's my Dad's name, but since I've not named any of my other kids to specifically honor any one of our parents, I'd almost feel weird doing it anyway.

my only worry (aside from the fact that I'm pretty sure my hubby will veto it...) is that I thought it would grow in popularity now that Heath Ledger & Michele Williams named their daughter that (Matilda Rose). but apparently, no one realized this? so maybe I'm crazy.lol

Hehe, Aeris reminds me of a guy I knew on an online RPG with that character name. Very strange guy that wanted to be a fashion designer (not usual in the geek world). Anyway, other then that association, it's a cute name. Tessa is also an old favorite of mine, I just love the sound of it. I've been thinking about Gavin a lot lately, I like it a lot. Also love Liam, it's my son's middle name :) I don't like Declan or Gage. I actually have strong feelings against Gage for a name. Maybe I'm just crazy, but it will always be a tool of measure for me!

actually, I think Aeris (this spelling) might be the name of a character in Final Fantasy VII too. I can't remember. but anyway.

I'm a bit weird on Gage myself, but it's one of the ones my husband actually likes (figures). Liam is his cousin so he refuses that one (one of my all time faves). and Gavin would have been my dd's name if she was a boy. but then it seemed like it was getting way popular & I got turned off from it...
we'll see how I feel when I'm pregant again. :)

Tessa Louise, Tessa Lianne, Tessa Margaret - Tessa is lovely with the other kids names.
Thea - I love it. I'd use it as short of Theodora/Theadora

Boys: Cody and Gage are the only ones I don't like. I'm surprised to see that your husband mostly nixed the conventional ones and approved the most unusual choices. That's kind of cool! Usually men play way too safe with male names imo.

and I wondered if anyone would notice the Annabelle thing. my mn is Leigh so I kind of thought it was funny (I know, my kid probably wouldn't once she heard of the poem *sigh* damn kids. lol)

I like Theadora but for 2 things: 1 I'm sure my husband will hate it, simply bc I like it (not in a mean way) and 2. I'd be deathly afraid of her being nn Dora by other people (I HAAATTEEE Dora the Explorer. it's kind of strange how bad I hate it...)

and yeah, he likes more unusual names but with no consideration of how it will be for the kid to actually HAVE the name. he wanted to name my daughter Eithne (prn Enya/Ainya) or Saoirse (prn Searsha), both Gaelic names. but only if they were spelled the original (not phoenetic) way. I'm like "no one will ever pronounce or spell those right EVER." his next choice was Tristan, but to me that's a boy name. oh well. :)

Aeris Brynn - I don't like Aeris, and I don't think is sounds good with your other two children's names. I love the name Brynn.

I think that Hunter would go really well with Logan in particular. And so would Mason. But what about Mason Grey? And Hunter Vincent?

How is Aeris pronounced? Like air-is?? I think beautiful classic names would go really nicely with Amelia and Logan. I like Elenor, Tessa, and Thea (which, to me, doesn't seem incomplete. but you could always have it short for Theadora). What about Thea Elise or Thea Nicole? I also like Annabelle, which is especially lovely with Iris. My cousin is Annabel Zoe (and I am Lauren Annabel). Iris seems to go with a lot of middle names:
