Dec. 4th, 2009 12:43 pmHey guys, How are you doing today? I hope everyone enjoys this weekend.
Im so out of it. I have a huge problema. See my Fiancee is spanish and I am too, but i was born and raised in NYC so of course I know english. But he was born and raised in the Dominican Republic..although hes been living here since the age of 12 he never really got around learning much english. He can speak it but not so well, He can understand it but only to a limit.
So were trying to have a baby, and he doesnt want to name the baby either girl or boy names that he is going to have a problem pronouncing..what are your suggestions on simple names for a girl and boy? PLEASE HELP...TY..xoxo..Lis

Date: 2009-12-05 08:52 pm (UTC)I asked because my sister and I picked it up and our parents don't speak it to us either, they never did but I guess it also depends on the person... I know people who have lived in the US for years longer than my sis and me and they didn't pick it up and I've always wondered what's up with that. I think my sibs and I just really enjoy learning languages so we actually try and learn them, not see it as something we have to do but something we want to do.
