My girl names
Jun. 28th, 2006 05:04 amI have revised my list. I tried to put them in order the best I can. I believe I'm having a girl so..
I've got in the habit of calling her Sunshine for now. But before January little Sunshine is going to need a new name... I've been thinking:
*Charlee/Charlotte Austin [note: I love just Charlee but I'm worried about the "that's a boys name!" thing.. and I don't like Charlotte quite as much]
*Reagan Madison / Reagan Addison / Reagan Marie-Addison
*Gianna Ariana
*Caitey Andersyen
*Alyson Galilahi
*Madelyn Leigh
*Holland Monroe
*Hannelore - needs a middle name.
*Aiyana Akiah Ahinawake
*Denver Marie
*Valley Channing
*Hailey Montana / Hailey Lee / Hailey Andersyen
*A'merie - needs a middle name.
*December Cailin
last name is Taylor.
Thoughts/suggestions/etc?
I don't mind criticism but please don't be rude; most of the names have meanings behind them.

Date: 2006-06-28 04:39 pm (UTC)lol yeah, when I was pregnant, we called the baby Broccoli or Duckling. both equally unsuitable as a child's name.
*Charlee/Charlotte Austin [note: I love just Charlee but I'm worried about the "that's a boys name!" thing.. and I don't like Charlotte quite as much]
-- I also am of the opinion that Charlee sounds better as a nn to Charlotte (more than any other possible names that were suggested) but if you don't like Charlotte, don't use it.
and looking back, I don't like that Charlotte ends w/a T sound & your ln begins with it. makes it run together. but Charlee Taylor actually IS cute...
*Reagan Madison / Reagan Addison / Reagan Marie-Addison - I like Reagan Marie. no Addison. I think that Addison/Madison, make too many en/an/on/in sounds together. but I think I'm oversensitive as my ss is Logan & our last name is 2 syllables, ending in the "in" sound. (and I don't like it...)
*Gianna Ariana _ I also agree, I LOVE Gianna & think it's one of the best names on here but not w/Ariana. again, one of those "sounds too similar" situations.
*Caitey Andersyen - funny, I know a girl named katie, her maiden (surname) was anderson. :D that aside, I don't care for the kreative spellings here & anderson seems boyish to me, probably bc of Anderson Cooper.
plus, I don't like how it sounds w/your ln. "CAY tee TAY lore"
*Alyson Galilahi - Alyson yes, Galilahi (I can't even prn it in my brain, lol) not so much for me. Alyson Taylor sounds good.
*Madelyn Leigh - I'm ambivalent. it's ok for me & sounds alright together. I just think Madelyn in any form is overused now. but Leigh is my mn. :)
Madelyn Taylor is ok.
*Holland Monroe - Holland yes, Monroe maybe... I like Holland Taylor actually.
*Hannelore - needs a middle name. - I don't understand this name when anybody posts it. where did it come from?
*Aiyana Akiah Ahinawake - just. too. much.
*Denver Marie - not a huge fan of place names, but if I were, Denver would sound boyish to me. but that's also how I feel about Dakota & that has become unisex so... *shrugs*. nms I guess.
*Valley Channing - I like Channing.
*Hailey Montana / Hailey Lee / Hailey Andersyen - Hailey is ok. I don't care for the mn choices though.
"HAY lee TAY lore" again, not so much for me.
*A'merie - needs a middle name. - I don't like apostrophes.
*December Cailin - Ima echo the person who said "cailin, yes, December, no"... but if you like month names, I do like January for some reason. and if that's when she (he?) is due it might be cute. I'm probably alone in thinking this.
ok after re-reading this, I hope SOME of it is helpful (and tries to make a little sense lol).
