babynamesA friend just directed me to this community and I have a gem to share. I worked at a boarding school for a while, and I encountered some crazy names, but there was one that is just.. What.
This little girl, who would now be in the ninth or tenth grade, was named Precious-Princess Diamond. Her mother was Cinderella Magic. My mother worked at the school too and told me about the mother when I mentioned my incredulity over PPD. And both mom and daughter insist on going by their "proper" names.
