all day....
Jun. 26th, 2006 11:14 pmI've been obsessed with the name Mia.
However, I don't feel like it's "enough" of a name to grow into as an adult - any ideas of names this could be used as a nn for? I also really like Martina, but that seems like it would nn to Martie or Tina

Date: 2006-06-27 11:50 pm (UTC)I may use the name Amalia. I fell in love with this little girl because the first time I saw her, I thought she was my son Seth. Identical. It was crazy. Same age (matter of weeks apart), same haircut, same face. On graduation day, her father left with my son. (they were dressed similar) When I looked down, and saw Mallie, I went NUTS. I grabbed my boss, and she called Mallie's father's cell phone, and told him to change "Amalia's" diaper. He did, and 5 minutes later he was back, and looking very embarrassed, switched kids with me. :-p
I miss that kiddo!

Date: 2006-06-28 12:33 am (UTC)When I was pregnant, I had every baby name book in the world. All the names were just overwhelming. So, finally, I said I was "going back to basics" and grabbed the bible. I swore that the first name i liked, would be his name. (He was without a doubt boy!) I didn't have far to go, the fifth person in the bible: Seth. AND 5 is my favorite number. Twas perfect! :)
