What do you think of the name Amiel for a girl, pronounced Ah-me-ell? I guess it could also be spelled Amielle.

Yep, it's a Hebrew name! I believe it means "God of my people", though I guess it was originally intended as a boys' name. I like it as Amielle for a girl, though.
